New Indoor plants

Native to the rainforests of southern Mexico and Central America, the large Monstera Deliciosa is prized for its dramatic architectural foliage. In its mature stage, the heart-shaped leaves develop deep splits and hole perforations (fenestrations) designed in nature to allow sunlight and wind to pass through to lower canopy levels. It is a vigorous climber that thrives when supported by a coir or moss pole, sending out thick aerial roots that anchor the plant. While adaptable to medium indirect light, bright indirect illumination encourages larger foliage and deeper hole patterns. It requires well-draining potting mix and watering only when the top two inches of soil have completely dried out.
