Unlike its tall upright cousin, the Hahnii cultivar forms a compact, funnel-shaped rosette of thick, dark-green leaves with light gray-green horizontal banding. It thrives under artificial fluorescent or LED office lighting, tolerates dry air conditioning, and only requires watering once every two to three weeks when the soil is completely dry.
